This is a scene of the after effects from a earthquake and tsunami in Sumatra, Indonesia. It was a 9.0 earthquake,and occured on December 26, 2004. The earthquake was caused by subduction and triggered other tsunamis caused other damage along the coast. It is the third largest earthquake ever recoreded on a seismograph.
