Coastlines - Cliffs of Dover
Even though the Cliffs of Dover are remarkable, the secret behind them is more sacred then people may perceive. These white cliffs, in the channel between England and France, once was an extended headland - later washed away by weather, including rain and tide. It is a possibility that many years ago, other coastline features like sea arches, stacks, or even tombolos occured here. Calcium carbonate, also known as Limestone, is what the cliffs are composed of - a soft material made up of marine shells. These cliffs provide the town of Dover with excessive tourist attractions, and is even featured in a famous, classic rock song.
