Volcanism - Mount Baker, the Silent Giant
I know that we have all seen this mountain in the distance from the view on the Ridge on a daily basis, although this giant holds many secrets underneath it's icy appearance. It may seem harmless, but Mount Baker is an active volcano in the state of Washington, USA. On the volcano itself, a 140,000 year old glaciated cone remains, until it's next awakening.
