River Feature: Erosion
River processes shape our land in many different ways with it's movement. Erosion is one of these processes, involving the wearing away of rock and soil found along the river bed and banks. Erosion also involves the breaking down of the rock particles being carried downstream by the river. By using abrasion, hydraulic action, attrition and solution, the rivers fast movement and rock particles breaks down the sides of the river, carrying the material downstream.
