Acid rain has caused this limestone statue to deteriorate, limestone is one of the weakest stones. and when an acid based substance with a pH higher than 7 comes in contact, the limestone melts like butter. We may be able to change this type of thing from happening by hopefully lowering fuel consumption in the future, but for now we can just add in filters for large coal burning factories.
