Global Warming
This polar bear is stranded on a very small piece of ice left due to global warming. The average global temperature has risen much more then expected in the past few decades. Sea water is much warmer and expanding causing the sea level to rise. In this case the ice is melting faster then it takes for new ice to be made. Due to the sea level rising it is causing the polar bears to become extinct.
