Hurricane Katrina was a devastating hurricane that left millions of people homeless. It formed over in the mid atlantic ocean, and swung around hitting New Orleans strait on. Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans on August 29, 2005 and it was one of the most devastating Hurricanes of all time.
