Barometers

A barometer is an instrument used in meteorology to measure air pressure in kilopascals or millibars. The barometer measures the weight of the air present in order to determine air pressure. The results from a barometer can be used to predict short term weather patterns, especially to find cold and warm fronts and high and low pressure systems.
