Real Events become a Motion Picture!

The classic weather film, Twister became a movie in 1996. This movie was based on real or close to real events. In the movie, a team of storm chasers are released into the funnel of a tornado. Another team is also competing with a similar device during a tornado outbreak in the middle of Oklahoma. The film was created to enforce the dangers and awareness of actual events that apparently occurred during the 1960's. Since the movie was released, there have been a few eerie incidents and urban legends of how similar tornado happened across the eastern states and eastern Canada.
