Effects of acid rain

Aquatic settings are one of the most effected places, due to acid rain. Acid rain reduces the pH level of water bodies, which inevitably kills organisms; this results in a dead lake. Furthermore, acid rain also has effects on forests. The rain can deteriorate the bark, leaves, etc... which kills the forest. Trees are rendered incapable of taking in certain nutrients after the acid rain destroys the roots.

One of the best solutions would be to improve the filters; prevent pollutants from reaching the atmosphere. This can be accomplished by more stringent laws regarding environmental standards.
