Toronto Spring Break!

During spring break, I went to Toronto, and in anticipation for what to bring (I have to plan out my outfits....), I looked at the average high temperatures in March on the weather network. At an average of 7 degrees celsius during March, I was not prepared for the weather when I got there. From Tuesday to Friday, the minimum temperature was 10 degrees (during the night) and got to a maximum of 24.3 degrees celsius on March 22nd. Even the minimum temperature that week was higher than the average temperature for March. Some could blame this on global warming, but people are being told not to expect this every year. It is mostly due to wind patterns, the Global Toronto tells us: "Low pressure in the Pacific Northwest and high pressure in New England created a perfect funnel, like the gutter lane in a bowling alley, for warm air in the Gulf of Mexico to head north. That air is about 10 degrees warmer than the air in the Midwest. From time to time that air heads north, but what is unusual is that the wind pattern stayed that way for about two weeks." Too bad, weather like that would be nice ALL the time!
