Acid Rain
Acid rain is made up of sulphur dioxide and nitrous oxide. It can by caused by various things such as the combustion from gas engines, industrial processes and coal burning from power plants. In the picture above you can see a statue that has been worn away over the years due to acid rain. Some solutions that can help reduce the amount of acid rain is quit burning coal or use "clean" coal before burning it, put scrubbers and filters in smokestacks or find alternative energy sources.
