It had occurred in Galveston in 2008 appearing to be the third most destructive storm ever to hit the United States. The effect that it had on people was that they had not listened to the new warning and reports to evacuate all belonging and such. But many did not, so residence lost their family photos, mementos, keepsakes, and heirlooms that they simply could have taken with them and not lost them. Also along with the hurricane was a massive amount of flooding that has appeared 2 days in advance but still the residence of the towns with warnings wouldn't listen.
